Information
Located in the Banat Region, with a population of 330
000 inhabitants, Timisoara
is the most important city in the Western part of Romania. It is about 571 km
away from Bucharest. You can reach Timisoara by train (especially when coming
from Belgrade, Bucharest, Budapest and Vienna), by air (Timisoara having an
international airport). Another possibility is a combination air & train,
via Airport Otopeni in Bucharest.
The University of the West is
in the top 4 in Romania, with
more than 15,000 students.

Food
Throughout the Campus, many fine Cafeterias are open
24hours/day. You can have the usual international dishes as well as Romanian
specialties. Prices are very convenient e.g., a good large Pizza is around $2.
