Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Research Group in Mathematical Inequalities and Applications (RGMIA). The Research Group is comprised of academics and researchers from Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. The aims of the group are to:

  • disseminate results via publication in electronic form and conferences,
  • create an awareness of the theory of inequalities and support seminars and visiting academics,
  • illustrate the applicability of inequalities in the sciences. For e.g. numerical analysis (including quadrature and integral equations), statistics, probability and information theory.

The RGMIA was founded in September 1998 and was based at Victoria University until 2009. It is chaired by Professor S.S. Dragomir and now boasts over 1300 members worldwide.
